What if you could get away for a little while with your family? And that time could also be restorative, playful, and educational? Would the best delight be the other families, who also embrace a Charlotte Mason philosophy, staying right there in the same campground, too?
Join us on a four day journey to the prairies and woods of Central Illinois. We will take time to savor in the joy of family life. We will benefit from like minded friends. We will stop to be immersed in the shared journey of homeschooling.
Bring your whole family to Tiskilwa, Illinois. Begin each day with prayer and hymns. Be inspired by speakers, Nancy Kelly and Art Middlekauf, just for parents each morning. Children will also have a special morning offering. Spend the afternoons learning as a family at immersions of handicrafts, brush drawing, solfa and more. Find the woods, lake, trails, and prairies full of nature study waiting for you. Join us swimming, boating and splashing. Rest under the oaks and pines. Eat together with other families and join them for songs around the bonfires in the evening. Be renewed by the wisdom of Charlotte Mason.
Retreat begins at 10am on August 14 and ends at 1pm on the 17th. Won’t you join us?
